Does the DT25 have an input for mp3/iPod?

I think the DT25 has a 1/4" input for a MP3 player or whatever...right?

    Hi,

spaceatl is correct, there is no CD/MP3 input on the DT50.

      Thanks,

I have DT25 head and cab along with PODHD500.  I tried playing the mp3 through the PODHD while hooked up to the DT25.  Nothing.  I would play the mp3 (iPhone) through the POD500 with a PA (powered speaker) and it came through.  Does it not work that same way through the DT25??  Am I missing something?  Is there a way to have the mp3 (iPhone) play through the DT25??  Thanks.

The cd/mp3 input on the HD500 is routed directly to its analog outputs. It is not converted to a digital signal inside the HD500, and hence is not available to carry over the L6 LINK connection to the DT25.

To get the mp3 sound from the HD500 to the DT25 you would need to connect an HD500 analog output into a DT25 analog input - not L6 LINK.

Thank you.  I can't have it set up both ways correct??  The reason is at rehersals we sometimes take a recording of song we are covering and play it once or twice to get a feel, etc.  No big deal just wondering.  Thanks again for your help.

Could you not play the iPod through the main PA instead of needing to put it through your POD and DT amp?.  SUre it may need a slightly different cable to connect to the PA mixer, but I'm sure you can get on eon ebay for under £10 to connect a single 3.5mm stereo connector to a pair of mono 6.3mm TS plugs or a pair of phono connections for the 'tape/CD' input you have on soime mixers.

            Hope this helps.

Hmm.  I must me totally stupid on this but I don't understand.  If I'm set up via L6Link between the POD and DT I can use another cable at the same time as the L6Link or set up the connection differently?   I would only be contected to the DT25 only - I play through the DT25 now and NOT the PA.  It isn't a huge deal but is is awfully nice to listen to a lick or part of a song at rehearsal.  Thanks!!
