Have Line 6 got any future projects so that a Variax can control a synth module?

You would think with the technology already built into the guitar that a simple mod could be added to control a synth a bit like my Roland GR20.
Anybody else think this would be a good idea?
Hi dmpoole . . .
Line 6 generally doesn't release future plans such as this, but this topic has been beaten to death since the release of the original Variax. I would say that the answer is "no". Sorry.
Shame.
With the expertise of Line 6 we would probably have the best synth sounds ever made with a perfect tracking system and a surefire winner.
Not much of a problem for you as you already have a GR-20. Just put on a Roland Hex pick-up on and the 13 pin converter somewhere on the guitar's surface and you instantly can do any Midi In/ Out from the GR unit. Yes you will have to accept some latency, shouldn't have much problem with track.g.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
