I've got both coming to me next week....wondering if anyone is using this combination & has any comments they could share ?

The BMG has the 13-pin & USB out.   Not sure if there will be any sound quality issues using the 13-pin or a standard 1/4" plug from the guitar to the HD & then the USB out of the HD direct to my Macbook.  

That's the plan anyway....so, looking forward to having some fun with my new Christmas toys !
