Pod studio kb37 Audio cut out windows 8

Hi there,

I bought 2 years ago line 6 kb 37. When I was bought this product I was usind windows 7. When I was listenin music,watching videos on youtube etc some times audio cut down and never gettin back until restart my computer. It was happened a lot of time in windows 7. Drivers are up to date. I dont know why it's happening to me I can't use this device. Last week I bought windows 8 pro and now when I want to listen music I can only listen few songs and audio cut down again. I reinstalled drivers but I cant find any solution. please help me, and one thing I want to ask is this device may broken ?

Not sure what the issue may have been for Windows 7, but I do not thinks the drivers are ready for Windows 8 yet. Windows 8 is not even an option to select from the downloads page.

I have exactly the same issue... at first I thought it was codecs or flash or something but I've come to the conclusion that its drivers. The issue occurs on my KB37 as well as my PodXT Pro... its making it a pain to try and practice to backing tracks. That being said, the asio drivers are still working perfectly (if a little slow due to Microsoft's glorious new memory management system), so it hasn't affected my recording/mixing workflow. So just to set your mind at ease, its not a hardware issue. Would be nice to have a real windows 8 driver :S

I'm a aisa so i beg your pardon for my bad english.
My kb37 normally in windows 7 but the audio cut arise for change the lower performance computer after.I think about you need upgarde computer.

It's really sad no one from line 6 answered this during 3 weeks. I'm started to being angry. I Hope any software specialist in line 6 will know what is "windows 8". Im really lost my confidence for line 6's support. Another unhappy customer here.

I was having a problems with temporary drop outs. I fixed it by going into the Windows 8 advanced power settings and setting the "USB selective suspend setting" to "Disabled"

I've just installed Windows 8 to my DAW after the hard drive died. After loading up Sonar, I've discovered that MIDI in doesn't work I guess I'm going to have to use a different audio interface until Line6 come out with some proper Windows 8 drivers for this product... I haven't tried the ASIO audio yet.
