Hi, here's a patch I made for getting a big bluesy lead tone. It's using a Delux Dbl Vib amp model, Screamer and Fuzz and some delay and reverb.
I thought it came through pretty well, what do you think? I went from the HD500 straight into my computer.
Listening to SRV and Philip Sayce inspired me to create this patch.

Robert,
I aways enjoy your videos (subscribed). That tone is great and I'll be getting it once I get another HD500 (which should be this afternoon).
What do you use to listen to the tones real-time? I see you said you recorded straight into the computer, but did/do you have some monitor speakers connected too?
Thank you. I use a pair of cheap studio monitors, but all the recording of this tone was done through the computer. No microphone involved.
Great sound. I to have a Fender squire that plays great and am thinking of modifying it. How are the pickups as far as being noisey. Any 60 cycle hum or noise around lighting, electronics, etc?
Thanks. Pickups are great, but they are regular single coils, meaning you get hum more than with humbuckers. No way around that unless you go with the SSC from Suhr or use some "hybrid" single coil, which aren't quite the same. These pickups are fantastic for me, who like old school, low output single coils.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
