Pod HD500

Hey, I am interested is buying a pod hd500 but i'm worried that it will do problems with my amp. I'm planing to use is as a multi effect with my amp VOX VALVETRONIX VT20+ , which has a tube in it but is also a modeling amp. I'm worried that because they both model amps , they might **** up each other's sound .. I don't have a budget to buy monitors, if I'm buying one i'm going to use it with my amp for at least 6 months .

please tell me if it will sound good with VOX VALVETRONIX VT20+ .. thanks a lot!!!

If you're just planning on using the Pod as a multi-effects unit, you would just leave the amp block switched off and apply whatever effects you want. The fact that they are both modellers doesn't really make any difference.

The VT20+ doesn't have an FX loop, IIRC, so it's just Guitar > Pod > VT20+. Dead easy.

If you just want FX, and not the HD500 amp modeling, you might consider the M13, which has all the same FX as the HD500 but no amp modeling.

that amp doesn't appear to have an fx loop, which would have helped somewhat...

still could work, you just might have to tweak like crazy!
