I've got an HD500 and a GR55. I love the HD500; easy logical interface. I love a few of the sounds on the GR55 and HATE the interface. So I'm selling it and moving on. BUT I would like to duplicate some of the patches as best I can on the Pod. I like the Orchestral Strings, and the Big Brass Section on the GR55. I don't think the Big Brass section can be duplicated, as the HD500 is not exactly multitimbral. BUT I think the Orchestral Strings (called "Rich Strings" on the GR55) MIGHT be able to be duplicated somewhat... it's kind of a swirling pad sound. Any of you tried to make sounds like this (with reasonable success)?

Please share what you did to create your String or Pad patch. Pretty please?
