Orchestral Strings or Ambient Pad Patch? Anyone got a good one?

I've got an HD500 and a GR55. I love the HD500; easy logical interface. I love a few of the sounds on the GR55 and HATE the interface. So I'm selling it and moving on. BUT I would like to duplicate some of the patches as best I can on the Pod. I like the Orchestral Strings, and the Big Brass Section on the GR55. I don't think the Big Brass section can be duplicated, as the HD500 is not exactly multitimbral. BUT I think the Orchestral Strings (called "Rich Strings" on the GR55) MIGHT be able to be duplicated somewhat... it's kind of a swirling pad sound. Any of you tried to make sounds like this (with reasonable success)?
Please share what you did to create your String or Pad patch. Pretty please?

For existing stuff: Check out the CustomTone exchange http://line6.com/customtone/browse/podhd500/
For making your own ambient patches: the tried and true stuff is great (delays, chorus, and volume pedals before delay in the chain), but also check out the Particle Verb under reverbs. Makes some cool, ambient, pad-like stuff. Dunno what they modeled it after, but it's cool

I made it and it's pretty cool. ![]()
I've tried the particle verb, for sure. I'm having trouble getting it to respond quicker, though. It has a real slow attack, and a very long decay. I'm wanting something with a quicker (but not real quick) attack, a shorter decay (but not too short) and the sound of great swirling sustain with it. I know it's gonna be some combination of modulation and reverb for the main part of the sound, and maybe some pitch shifting thrown in... just haven't figured it out yet
