Just quickly recorded a small jazzy improvisation with my trusty Variax 700 - Gibson 175 model - neck pick-up - full volume and tone pot about half way..

the HD500 modeled amp is a VOX AC-30 - default input settings - bass cut and treble at noon - presence to zero - gain about 17% - master, volume and general master full open - mic 57 on axis - reverb plate at default settings...a very simple setup..

I didn't use a pick but only my thumb

I forgot to mention I recorded directly from USB - POD with cubase 5..

the only audio process I did on the track was a simple normalization
