Urgent!!!--Pod HD 500 Reboot Issues & USB "Not Recognized" Problem

Hi all,

I tried to update my pod hd500 to the 2.0 update from 1.40. During the update, something must have gone wrong and my pod now reboots every 10 or so seconds. Also, when I connect the pod to my windows xp and windows 7computers, they are unable to recognize the pod. I have done the usb driver update through Line 6 monkey, and without using monkey too. How do I update the pod and solve the rebot issue once I can connect to a pc? I need an answer ASAP!

Try holding down the 'Down' Arrow when turning on the power to the HD500. Then use Line 6 Monkey to replace the firmware. When the software asks you whether you want to replace presets: choose 'No'.

  I believe Flash 2.1 is the latest...not sure why you'd want to install 2.0.
  
  Holding down the Left Nav-key while powering up does the Global Settings Reset and seems to be the common way to recover from the dreaded "flahing logo" problem. Have not heard about using the Down Nav-key while powering up...what does that do?
  
  There are recent updates to Monkey and Edit as well.

    the answer:
    it gives you the possibility to update your firmware when your HD gets crazy and starts rebooting all the time and the global reset doesn't cure the problem and you can't take the control of the machine

Ok, I just checked this thread for the first time in a few days. I have done the global reset, and it still has the power blink on and off, and there is no audio signal at all. I have downloaded the latest usb drivers outside of monkey and I still get the usb not recognized when I plug the pod in. any ideas? This is driving me crazy!!
