32 Band EQ for Main Out (without using L6Link)

Hello,
i'm using the M20d with a conventinal Speaker system and have therfore to use the Analog XLR Main Out.
In the Deep Tweak Mode of the Main Out i have only a 6 Band EQ. The 32 Band EQ for the Connected L6Link Speakers is disabled, because i have no L6Link.
But why can't i use the powerfull DSP of the M20d tho have a 32 Band EQ on the Main Out for a conventional Speaker system which have no build in EQ?
the 32 band Eq is only possible through the L3(x) connections, it's hardware completments the use of it, if I recall correctly
Kind Regards
- Hans
The 31 band GEQ is not in the mixer bur rather lives in the StageSource speakers themselves. The mixer operates as the controller for them.

The M20d is the controller and the 1/3rd oct GEQ circuitry is actually inside the Line 6 speakers. Since there is no GEQ circuitry inside other brands of speakers there is nothing for the M20d to control.
The M20d does have a 6 band parametric EQ built-in to each output. The parametric is probably more powerful than a GEQ but since it is it may require a bit more tweaking to achieve those results.
I personally would much prefer parametrics on the outputs vs the 31 band GEQs on my DL1608 (as would any "pro" IMO) but Presonus tried to "sell" that to the lower end users that make up the vast majority of their buyers and it didn't fly for them. They ended up adding GEQ's because that's what the "market" demands. YMMV (or not
).
Stay in the mix and in the know.
