Hi Dave... actually, it's the other way around, to be honest. Posting a thread here where us Moderators primarily operate and generating discussion amongst users is not as compelling as the number of Feature Requests to the actual Product Development team. But you're free to do so; just thought I'd give you a heads up, though.

The Forums here are to assist users with currently release products and their inherent features as is. I totally agree with everything you've mentioned about a 2 x 12, but those who have the ability to make product change/new product decisions aren't here on the user forums. (it's the number of requests from there that really generates compelling evidence in the form of numbers to them indicating there truly are "x number" of folks requesting a new product change or design).

I bought a Vetta II 2x12 extension cabinet on eBay for $200 a few months ago.  It had two G12H90's in it.  I replaced one with a V30...planning on closing the back, but haven't got around to it, yet.

They do pop up occasionally...
