hallo guys check this video plz and if anyone know let me know how the do this feedback emulator.they use the pod hd 500.plz let meknow
That's actual feedback from the amp. They're using the HD500 with the DT-25, and just like any real amp, it's pretty easy to get that to feed back on a high gain setting.
no man i dont think so cause he says feedback mimic on the description and as you can see he is changing the parameters of the pod hd with the jtv knob.he is using definately an effect or a distortion pedal.
Ok, Jim is correct. I actually didn't listen to the whole clip, just the very beginning of the section you pointed to. I do think that part of it is related to the fact that they're using the DT-25, though.
Easy. Just assign a Pitch Glide into your signal chain. Set the octave to +12. Then I guess you hook up the JTV knob as a controller to the Pitch Bender Mix control - I don't have a JTV so cannot help you on that bit. 0 Mix = 0% = original note. Mix = 100% = +1 Octave above.
It won't sustain like a real amp feedback but you get the overtone on demand. I do the same by assigning the Mix control to an expression pedal. Will work for a single note ... more than one gets mungy.
but i guess you have to mess with the mix so that the original signal is also present right/cause if you dont do that it will sound like traditional satriani/tom morello whammy usage.i guess 50/50 mix will be ok.thanks brother
I reckon you could get close to 100 percent on the mix and have it still sound credible on a single mote but try it and dial in what works for you. It looks like one of the other tone knibs us mapped to pitch so you can do dive bombs etc.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
