Pod x3 bean sound issue

Hi,

 

I have had a Pod X3 bean for year but have only been using headphones and it sounds great.

But when i plug it into a studio monitor using the left 1/4 output jack it sound really quiet and not as good as the headphones did.

I have tested the studio monitor by pluging it into the headphone jack and it sounds great.

I have also tested it by plugging the headphones into the left 1/4 output jack and it again sounds really quiet and not as good as the headphone output jack.

 

Any suggestions? Am i doing something wrong or is the pod 1/4 ouputs broken?

    Check the Outputs Page 1. Make sure the output mode for the 1/4" Live Outputs is set to Match Studio / Direct. Then check Outputs Page 2 and make sure the Tone(s) you want to hear in the preset are On and panned appropriately.

      Thanks for the quick suggestion but i figured it out after a few hours of messing around with it.

      If i pull out the cable end just slightly from the jack it sounds loud and clear but if i push it all the way in it sounds quiet and like crap.

      So i guess i will just leave the plug slightly out from the jack unless anyone else has had a similar issue and knows a fix or why its doing that.
