Hi there.
I'm having so much trouble updating my DT50. Has anyone tried to update it using a Midisport 2x2? I'm new on this Midi Interface thing, and I guess I'm doing something wrong. The drivers of the interface are installed and all, but Monkey keeps finding error 8000000A when trying to iinstall. The midi lights are off and the USB one on. Can somebody help on this one? Is there any video tutorial?
Thanks a lot.
did you install the m-audio drivers and not use the windows drivers?
Yes, I've installed them from the M-audio website.
The first time I tried the computer recognised something connected by the midi cables, but now not even that.
By the way thanks for answering! I'm desperate! My amp is just a box since last month...
what is the operating system you are using? If you are using XP than try from.a PC with Windows 7
You need two midi cables. You have to connect the midi out of the Midisport into the midi in of the DT, AND midi out of the DT into the midi in of the Midisport in order for it to work. Try it out, I didn't realize that you had to have both connected when I first tried the update and it gave me the same error message. Hopefully this will work for you.
Hi!
That's what I did on the first place and nothing. I sent it to a service center since I couldn't fix it myself. We'll see. Thanks anyway!
Just wanna say that I experience exactly the same problem right now... ![]()
I use a M-Audio MIdisport 1x1. Latest drivers and everything by the book. When I patched it up the first time "Monkey" detected the amp but when the update started there was the error 8000000A, and after that I can't connect to the amp. Tried three different PC's with different OS - same result all the time.
I will see if I can get any help from the L6 support - otherwise I guess I will have to claim warranty?
So annoying!
