POD HD Monitor Help

Okay so I have no speakers on my computer I just have my monitors directly linked to my POD HD Pro Desktop and if I watch a youtube video the POD will stop working.

Any advice? Because at this point upping the buffer rate changes nothing.

Also If I use Superior Drummer 2.0 in Reaper I can hear the drums until I put a guitar track on there and then I can only hear the guitar.

Advice on both would be extremely helpful thank you.

I dont have an answer for you, but perhaps to assist those that may be able to help.....

when you say "the pod will stop working". Do you mean that the youtube sound doesnt play?, or that some existing sound (via an instrument input or from the PC) no longer plays? I am assuming you dont mean that the POD just completely conks out.

If no one comes up with any specific suggesstions I would say a complete removal, clean up, and re-installation of the drivers may be worth a shot.

        Hmmm.

Anything I could suggest would just be guesswork with those symptoms. Really does seem like a PC problem rather than a Pod opne though.

I'd reiterate my suggestion to reload the drivers. I'd even try on a different PC if you have the option just to home in the issue (and confirm, if my thinking is right, that the problem exists at the PC end).
