pod hd 500; delay time; from ms > tap tempo

hi all,
is there a shortcut or a tip/trick to a fast change from values in milliseconds (ms) to following the tap tempo? I.e. if a certain preset has e.g. 300ms, I have to keep turning the knob to bring it to a musical note that would then follow the tap tempo (isn't it?).
any ideas?
It's faster while using HD Edit, but other than that, you're stuck with turning the knob. The telepathic control feature for the HD series is still in beta... o, darn, I forgot I wasn't supposed to give away NAMM secrets... ![]()
Thanks! So, the telepathy is still far away! ![]()
I think there is an obvious way: Save the right BPM tempo in your presets. So instead of setting your delay value to 300 ms, set it up to follow eights @ 100 BPM. This will give you 300 ms when calling up the preset, but will instantly change to whatever tempo you tap.
PS: The formula would be ms = 240,000 * Note / BPM resp. BPM = 240,000 * Note / ms, e.g. 240,000 * 1/8 / 300 ms = 100 BPM
Stay in the mix and in the know.
