Issues with the POD HD 500

I downloaded the Line6 Monkey software today but when I plug my POD HD 500 to my computer via USB the program will shows the POD but says it is "not connected". I was logged in under my user name and I have registered the POD on the Line6 website. I originally did all of this on a different computer that comppletely died a few months back. Could this be an issue? What can I do to get the Monkey to recognize the POD so I can upload updates and patches on it?

Sincerely, Jordan

Re: Issues with the POD HD 500

Start by downloading the driver. Monkey will help you do that even though it does not yet recognize the HD500 - just select the HD500 as the target device when Monkey launches. Then follow Monkey's instructions carefully re: when to connect/disconnect your HD500.

After installing the driver Mnkey should then recognize the device and help you download and install the rest of the software (HD500 firmware, HD500 Edit).
