M9 Footswitch sticks a little

One of the Footswitches on my M9 sticks a little.

It works fine, but can this issue be solved with some WD-40?

It's just frustrating everytime I stomp it..

Don't use WD-40. I know people see it an all purpose lubricant, but that's not really it's purpose. It's really a water dispersant, and it actually can potentially do more harm than good to electronics in the long run because of the residue it leaves behind. If you want to use a lubricant, 3-in-One Oil will work.
