L3m won't turn on..."click, click" nothing...after first set..."tah-duh"...it works again. Question: Anyone else have this happen? Anyone know whY?
My L3t seems to have a brief warm-up period (several seconds) before sound starts coming out, but I'm pretty sure the LED lights up immediately. Could it be something like that?
I had a similar clicking behaviour with no sound from one of my L3t speakers. I just got my system a couple of days ago and am not very familiar with it yet. This happened when I was first setting up and connecting two L3ts via L6 LINK. Turns out I had the cabling wrong - mixed up my Input and Output cables/jacks. I think the clicking sound has something to do with the L6 LINK system trying to synchronize among the connected speakers. In my case it was repeatedly trying to connect (and clicking) because I confused it. Reconnecting the cxables properly solved it.
Could that be what happened to you?
Two clicks is what you should hear as the system boots up. It's not warming up, it's loading up the programming.
By any chance do you have it plugged into a surge power strip?
Similar problem here.
None of my speakers 2 L3m's and an L3s are powering on properly.
2 Clicks then nothing, no lights or anything.
Like I said in my other thread, I've been on the phone to Line 6 in the UK and they are stumped too and I am waiting for them to call me back.
Unsure as to whether I should leave my speakers on to see if they start working or keep them off till I have a definitive solution (assuming there is one) offered to me.
Hello,
If you feel that you are having problems with your hardware, or that your Line 6 product is not functioning the way that it should, please create a support ticket at the web address below.

In regards to what you are experiencing, the L3t speakers should power up completely, every time. If you experience this failure to power up after connecting to multiple power outlets, please contact support.
Mine have worked perfectly now for some time...with all the same cables and lots of different outlets...hope it keeps up!
Stay in the mix and in the know.
