POD BlueScreen

So for a while now I have be trying to diagnose why my POD HD Desktop drops severly in volume or sometimes cuts completely out and that usually follows a BlueScreen on my computer.
People said the volume cutting out was possibly the buffer rate which I then increased but eventually that did not help so I knew that was not the true problem.
So today I moved my POD to get something for my brother and while moving it it cut out. I thought it could be chance that it cut out at the same time I touched it but then I wiggled the USB cable and it cut in and out until it worked perfectly again.
I am assuming now that the USB was the problem the whole time which was my intial thought but I didn't know anything about the POD and really still don't.
Basically I am asking has anyone unless had the same issue with the USB cable? Also I am guessing that you can buy these cable from amazon right?
And is it more likely that it is the USB port itself or the cable?
One more thing, when it cuts out the asterix shows up on screen as if I had changed some settings on the current patch it is on.
Thank You.
Wow - you waited a whole 2 1/2 hours before sarcastically complaining that no one has yet volunteered their time to serve you! Nice approach! ![]()
The Pod uses a standard USB cable. IF you suspect it you can find one anywhere - probably even elsewhere in your house.
Try using another USB port on your computer, and do not use any usb hubs.

Sorry the other forum I use is like instant responses.
You can order USB cables for cheap at monoprice.com
The chances that its the cable itself are very low. Far more likely to be the jack on the POD. Easy to confirm with a couple other cables to test it out with.
