    Re: DT Editor

    I'm not understanding the fact that all settings are sticky.  In my experience, amp model, cab, class (A/B, A) boost and topology are all sticky.  But I'm finding that the drive, bass, mid, treble, presence, volume and reverb settings are not sticky.  For example if I change the drive setting on topology I and then switch to top II, the drive knob changes, but if I then go back to top I the previous drive setting I changed it to didn't stick.  At least when it comes to the setting shown in DT Edit.   Am I not doing something right?  I would love to be corrected!

    No, you are correct... anything on a knob is WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) and not sticky.

    Ok, that's informative.

    So you should be able to tune in the exact same sound with the HD500 connected, as the DT25 stand alone?

    You basically move the preamp modelling to the HD500 instead of the DT25, and the poweramp works the same, am I right?

    That was really what I hoped for when I got both the DT25 and the HD500, because I tested the DT as stand alone, and i loved it right away.

    Re: DT Editor

    A sincere thank you for taking the time to develop this interface and sharing it with DT users.

    I had no issues with the install (1.1.0 zip) and it is working perfectly with my DT25 head. The only "glitch" of any sort that I noticed was when I shrunk the DT Editor into the background it would occasionally switch voicings, seemed more common if I was on channel "B". Not sure if it had to do with a keystroke or something I was doing? I was using Alt/PrtSc on my laptop to copy and paste a screenshot ofthe DT Editor settings into Word so I could recall what I had set up.

    Again really cool thing for you to do and thanks!

    Hey,

    it really saved my weekend with my 'new' DT25, thx for this editor, great. Everything worked fine with Win7 Pro 64bit. Thx for Line6, too, but a bit more support around 'the MIDI thing' or a program like this would have been fine.

    So, Line6, please value the great work of rollo69 aka Rolf Meyerhoff.

    Hi,

    Firstly, thanks for putting in the time and releasing this. I've downloaded the app and tried running it with my DT25, but i can't get the DT25 to respond to the controls. As anyone else got this to work with a DT25? Also, would you be interested in releasing the source? I'm a software engineer and I'd be happy to poke around and see if I can figure out what the problem is.

    Cheers,

    Gary

    PS: Just to be clear, I'm talking about DT Customizer (beta 0.2) on Mac OS X.

    Hi Gary,

    Please use the latest version...

    ==========================

    EDIT: Latest Version:

    http://www.cunningham-photo.com/apps/dtc/DTCustomizer08b.zip

    ==========================

    I've had a couple of people successfully connect to DT25.  Please make sure you choose the correct Midi device and channel.

    Can you give me a little info...

    Does the "Connect" Dialog come up?

    Does it show your Midi device as a connection option?

    Does it show other devices?

    Are you sure you are selecting the correct Midi device and channel?

    Thanks,

    Cass

    Rollo69

    I am using Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 w/MS Office Word 2007 and an M-Audio Uno with the latest drivers.

    It happened one more time since, it seems to happen randomly but I am sure that's not the case. I don't know? It must be what's highlighted when I hit Alt/PrtSc that's all I can think of. I'll try to pay more attention when I am working with it.
