Hope this is the righ forum to ask for help, anyway, I've been playing for years and always was
a pedal head, had dozens and dozens of them, after getting sick of patch leads packing in and pedals
going bang I decided to get a HD500...I bought it second hand so have no software or manual, I downloaded
the relevant stuff from here and have gotten to the stage where I now have 100's of downloaded patches that
I'd like to get onto the pedal. Here is where the problem starts.
I drag and drop the patch I want into the blank space on the "User2" menu of the Pod software programme,
the 500 says synching and the patch pops up where I dropped it on the pedal. Then when I disconnect the
usb lead all the patches are gone..Can someone point mein the right direction, how do I make them stick.
more questions to come, hope this isn't too retarded a question.
Cheers Rich
it reads the tones from the device.... device disconnected = nothing to read.
No, what I mean is, when I plug the 500 into my amp, all the patches that I thought I'd uploaded are gone, are you saying I need my computer plugged into the chain to make the patches work?
No, but you do need to hit the send or send all command at the top of the memory window...
the tones are all just temporary on your computer until that happens.
He's right, "Send" to device. I typically use "Send Setlist" so it doesn't have to go through all patches. ![]()
Be sure to also select the patches before hitting send, otherwise nothing will send.
