Help! volume pedal won't work!

Hi, i've got a Pod hd500.

I tried to use the volume pedal, but i can't get it working on my expression pedal.

i've set the controller to exp 2, my toe switch is also on exp 2. But it won't work. When i move the expression pedal the volume pedal will hold on 100%

 

Does anyone know how to get this fixed?
