I figured this out on my own a few weeks ago and took some photos, so I thought I'd share in case anybody is interested. The power supply line going to the modeling circuit board is a constant 12 V DC, so I spliced into that. Works like a charm. I can hear the fan when I turn the amp on, but not when I'm playing at any significant volume. I may add a switch in the future so I can disable the fan while recording. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, though. I used a Dremel tool to add air inlet slots to the chassis under the svPre. The red and white twisted pair in the last photo are the leads for the fan.
