Can anybody answer this clearly? I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere!

I'm connecting to my DT25 head via the L6 link, it sounds great. However, I'm struggling to find out if it makes a difference if I use the effects loop on my Pod HD500 or if I use the effects loop on the DT25? Because the HD500 is essentially now the preamp of the DT25, if I use the effects loop of the POD, after the amp model, will it slot in in the same position as if I was using the effects loop on the DT25? I.e. before the power amp stage? Or does it go through some front end processing first?
