Speaker Cab Question

I am trying to get the back off of a DT25 112 cab. All the screws are out and speaker plug (and plate) removed for finger hole acces. Cannot get the back to come off. Almost feels like it is glued, just won't budge. Kind of stuck at this poiunt without "deep prodding screwdrivers" ...
Any suggestions as to how to get the back off without damaging the tolex etc.
Mine was quite sticky...I banged on it with a rubber mallet and used a few 1 inch chisels I had laying around...just kept going around and it finally started to give...
Think maybe a heat gun would help????
Thanks gents .... I got it with some "gentle persuasion" from a soft wooden mallet (tap tap), a thin metal egg flipper (to open up the slot all around) and two 1" Chisels to gently pry it open. Some minor scarring but barely noticeable.
I put in one of the Weber "Beam BLockers". Will see how well it works at the next rehearsal. Sounds decent at home. Would be great to have a second (non beam blocked cab) to compare.
