Long cable run to guitar amp after HD500

I have to be on stage with my HD 500, but have the amp backstage.

Can I just use long 1/4" unbalanced cable from one of the amp outputs?... or

Should I use the XLR and a XLR/1/4" converter for balanced?

Or... something like the Radial SGI to run a long XLR

Thanks

Anything more than I think it's 10m for an unbalanced cable can start to cause issues, but try it out and see how it sounds.

But if you can try balanced that would be best.

Other alternatives would be wireless to a pod HD pro backstage and use an FBV shortboard to control it.  Or wireless to your hd500 backstage  and use midi to switch it.  Then the cable from pod to amp will be short.

    Cheers
