hardcases for the JTV's

does anyone know if there is a list of cases that fit the JTV's , I have a JTV-59  and the Gator les paul case is  the best guess I could find , it's ok and will work but I got lucky , does line 6 have a chart/list/fishbone diagram of recommended cases for the JTV's ? I got my eye on the new 89F and would like to buy a hardbox for it ? I don't do sacks:) thanks everyone!!!

    I don't like gigbags either.

I talked to Thomann, germany just the other day about this - and they said any strata/tele style case would hold 89F model.

And tremolo arm comes off easily on FR - not having upside/down situation pressing tremolo.

They have some Thomann branded cases as well, that seem very good value for money.

I have a JTV69, and I just tested it with my Fender SKB ATA case (the case that comes with the American Standard Strats and Teles), and though it's a little snug around the body, the case would work for the Variax. I actually like these cases quite a lot, and have checked a guitar on a plane in one before.

I have a Gator rectangular case that I bought at the same time as my Variax 300 in 2005, used it for years. I bought an Epiphone Les Paul, and got an SKB TSA-rated Les Paul case for it. I got my JTV-59 in 2011 and used the Gator case for it and it fit & worked fine. Last October, I bought a JTV-69S. I stopped taking my Epi as a backup, so I now put the 59 in the SKB LP styled case and the 69S in the Gator. Both fit great -- no problems.

The Gator is similar to this one (I think this is the newer version of mine): http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/gator-deluxe-abs-electric-guitar-case  -- this one is a kind of "universal" rectangular case LP's and double cutaways both work in it.

The SKB is this one: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/skb-skb-56-deluxe-single-cutaway-electric-guitar-case -- this one is specifically for LP style guitars, so the strat-like double cutaway guitars like the 69's and 89's will not fit.

I didn't get them from MF, but got the Gator at the music shop I got my Vax 300, and theSKB at Guitar Center when I bought the Epi Les Paul.
