Cannot Get Monkey to Recognize POD 400 HD

Hi there,
Please help if you are able. I have a newer Windows 7 equipped laptop and have installed the newest version of Line 6 Monkey.
I have a POD 400 HD
HD is plugged into outlet, and computer via USB
I have registered the POD HD manually, but it is not at all recognized by the Monkey.
I have used different cables, and every time the computer itself recognizes the POD and in fact downloads the drivers natively (so I know it's not a cable or power problem since Windows 7 recognizes it and installs the proper driver.)
Monkey still says it doesn't recognize the POD, nor the driver.
I have downloaded the POD driver multiple times via Monkey and every time the computer reboots after successful install, Monkey doesl not recognize either the driver or POD.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Heath
Have you tried to manually download and instal drivers? It isn't obvious from your post. If not, I would recomend to download drivers from line6 website - http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=4791&uid=60327, then follow installer informations about when to connect (or disconnect) your POD.
EDIT: Oh, now I see you tried to manually download them, my mistake ;-)
