Update Relay G30

Hi,

 

I want to update my Relay G30 to firmware V. 2.0, because I updated all my Relays and VX-70. I've read, that it is not possible to use relays V. 1.0 and V. 2.0 at a time in the same room.

 

My Relay G30 Transmitter (SNr R6T2M5930004510) doesn't react with a flashing light as described when entering the loader mode (changing channel from 1 to 6 to 1 three times and so on...)

 

Also the method for V. 1.0 (symm cabel) doesnt work.

 

Isn't it possible to update the G30? Whats going wrong?

    Hi,

     

    the same problem with two G50 transmitters - the way it's discribed they don't go to the loader mode.

     

    Relay G50 Transmitter SN MDN0M6020003988 and MDN0M6018004268.

     

    Are the transmitters too old? Is it possible to update them to V. 2.0?

      It is possible that you have G50 transmitters that are too old.  They must be V1.03 or later to work with the Monkey download.  This is noted in our "documents" section.

       

      I do not believe there should be any problem with any versions of G30.  You do have to complete switching to the "loader" mode in a short time period.  Are you using a TRS cable?
