Transfering model packs from XT Live to Farm

I managed to transfer the model packs from Farm to the XT (Metal Shop, FX Junkie and CC), but I can't figure out how to do it the other way around. I'd love to have the Power Pack on my computer, do I have to buy it?
What type of license do you have?
It sounds like you had the model pack license for the xt and purchased a Pod Farm license?
The PowerPack comes with the xt (I think it was one of the firmware upgrades way back).
So if you purchased a Pod Farm license (not for i-Lok) you would also be able to use all the standard models plus all the add-ons you paid for, since the PP comes free with the xt, you can not use it without the xt being plugged in as a dongle.
That's a bit confusing, let me explain.
I have a GX, which I bought before the XT. Later, I bought those 3 model packs for the GX/Farm. Then I bought the XT, and transferred those onto it. I'm trying to transfer the Power Pack from the XT onto Farm (GX).
What I want is to be able to use the Power Pack, without having to record through the XT - I want to use Pod Farm for FX processing instead, because it's easier to make changes on the fly if I'm not happy with the tone.
Note that I'm not using the GX to record, it's a separate Focusrite interface. However the GX is still plugged in so that it allows me to use the model packs on Pod Farm.
no can do.
the XT owns the power pack and its hard coded and cannot be transferred. you need to buy the power pack then you will own it, and can use it like you want.
you might also consider getting a pod farm 2.5+ license... then you will be able to use your packs with nothing plugged in, as its hardware independent.
That's a shame ![]()
