Anyone know more tech specs about Variax? (sample rate, bit rate, impedance level)

Line 6 is a digital guitar, or rather, the signal was processed digitally (since it's final output is analog), ergo there will be a sample rate. and bit rate of how it was processed.
Does anyone know the sample rate and bit rate of the variax?
Also, what is the impedance level of the variax? Just instrument level, or line level? Just wondering if it would be more appropriate to throw it into a DI box before an audio interface.
I believe the original Variaxes were low impedance, similar to using a guitar with active pickups. The JTVs are low impedance, though, which I'm sure is simply do to the fact they're using passive magnetic pickups. I have no idea what the sample and bit rate is. Not trying to be rude, but why is that important to you?
For impedance levels, it's to know if I need to throw the Variax through a DI box before my audio interface. I assume I should probably do that anyways, but I don't have one at the moment.
For sample rate and bit rate, I'm just curious. I really don't care that much, but it would be nice to know.
I understood why you wanted to know about the impedance. That's actually an important detail.
I have an interface with a Line Level/ Instrument Level switch.
Would the XPS change the impedence level or would it remain the same?
