I have heard good things about the Behringer in general (you can even hack the firmware with custom functionality if you felt the need) and the price is good. However, I don't remember hearing many people talk about their use in this forum. Hopefully this is cause they are so reliable that nobody needs to but then who knows . If I had my time again, I would probably go with an HD Pro and a Behringer (split the brain from the oft abused switching) but I too would be interested in hearing experiences.

Thanks for your reply. Right now, I'm leaning more towards Line 6's FBV Shortboard because I love its sleek all black theme and the expression pedal seemed solid to me with my POD HD500 experience. However, after blowing most of my money on the HD PRO, to get the FBV would be a bit hard.
I've done some research about the FCB 1010 and found it to be really big? Also, it has a really steep learning curve. I would love to hear some experienced thoughts on this though.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys!

You might try an FBV Shortboard (not the MK2)...You can find them on ebay pretty cheap and the screen and buttons are better IMHO....I have both and I prefer the MK1 to the MK2...built like a tank....
Here's one with 2 days left. I have seen them for right around $100...You have to keep an eye out...
Here's a MK2 with a buy it now of $129...

Go to guitarcenter.com and search the used gear for the shortboard or the mkII. I have seen both for $100 and the shipping is usually reasonable. You have to order by phone by calling the store that has the used ones listed. I purchased a shortboard for about $50 a few years ago and have seen a few MkII's for around $80.
