I assume you mean when you plug your MP3 player into the amp, it is not loud enough compared to the guitar volume? As the MP3 input bypasses the preamp section of the Spider, the only way to adjust the volume is with teh MP3 player itself. If it is still not loud enough for you, you may have to try a different MP3 player. If the MP3 player sounds loud enough using earbuds and/or the volume is same with a different MP3 player, then the MP3 input section of the Spider amp could be at fault.
Ok. Assuming your trying to play guitar along with a song from your mp3 player and the signal is not keeping up with your guitar volume. Start by turning you channel volume all the way down. Then turn the mp3 volume up all the way (via the mp3 player), tune your master volume to your desired volume, and adjust your channel volume (guitar volume) accordingly to have a level sounding mix.
