hello people

i have a pod hd 500 for over a year now, and i connect the Pod to a atomic amp reactor 50 watts, i want to know if the selector on the front of the pod(next to the expression pedal) needs to be in amp or line? i used this thing in amp 1/4 out for over a year, but just today i switched to line and i just notice theres more volume(obiously ) but i thinks there is more clearity in this selection, what's the best way to connect this thing to the atomic?
