Atomic Reactor FR

Hy guys!

A question for you.

I am using a Pod Xt Pro, directly into PA.

I've bought an Atomic Reactor Fr active as a monitor (sounds good !).  Now i wish to connect the Atomic Balanced XLR thru (is an output)  to PA in stereo: can I do it using a Y-adapter cable (XLR splitter)? DI Box? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

    Re: Atomic Reactor FR

The Y-adapter will split the incoming mono signal (from the Atomic Reactor output) into two mono signals. You won't get any stereo separation from the PA. If you want stereo separation in the PA you will need to feed it a stereo signal, either directly from the Pod xt outputs or 'thru' two Atomic Reactor monitors set up as a stereo pair.

In your situation I don't see any advantage in splitting the signal. I would take the mono Atomic Reactor output and feed it into a mono channel in the PA. Panning this signal to centre will give essentially the same result as splitting the signal, feeding it into a stereo pair, and panning both fully L and R respectively. The only real difference is that the mono setup is simpler and uses one less mixer input.
