Hi,
Yes you can. When GearBox is not running, you can change the KB37s inputs in the Line 6 Audio MIDI Devices Panel in either Control Panel on PC or System Preferences on Mac. Click the 'Inputs & Recording Tab' and you can select your input source there. Below that you will see what record sends (digital outputs) to use in your DAW software.

Weird, that is what I thought one had to do, but it is not working for me. I can only monitor the audio inputs if I am running GearBox. The audio is not audible even when I try Window Mixer. As for applications, I can see the meters moving in Adobe Audition and Sony Sound Forge that audio is coming in and I can even record that audio but I cannot hear it.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
Thanks
Stan

Hi,
I would check that the KB37 is set as your sound card in your OS first. Also connect your monitors directly to your KB37 since ALL audio output will come from it at this point. We have several video tutorials on this, specific to your OS: http://line6.com/community/community/support/videotutorials?view=documents
Finally, be sure you have it set as the audio interface in your DAW. This is usually found in your audio preferences / setup.
Thanks

Sorry to took so long to respond, ben really busy.
I did what the video said to do, to set up the Tone Port 37 as an external sound card, and unfortuantely I still cannot hear incoming audio unless I am running I am running GearBox.
This is isolated to my unit either. We have a few TonePort 37 at the studio I work at, and all the other engineers have the same problem.
Is this a drive thign or something?
Any information would help.
Thanks

Stan,
You will only hear the audio you input into the KB37 1) while you are running Gearbox or POD Farm or 2) Using the KB37 as your input/output device in a recording/audio program.
Otherwise, you will not just hear the sound being input into the unit.
