How to salvage a flood damaged Flextone III

My poor Flextone 1x12 was ruined in my drummers basement flood. The top half of the combo was untouched, but the first 7 inches were submerged in raw sewage. My question is"Is it possible to modify the amp by cutting out the bottom half, disconnecting the speaker and using as a head only, in combination with either a Flextone extension cab or any other Line6 cabs?"
Yup.. been done. Absolutely possible to use as a head..
Search the forum for Davejenks mod's...
Sorry for my ignorance, I don't use this forum that often. But where is the thread you mentioned (Davejenks mod's)? I can't seem to find it in the search.
Cheers!
There you go...Sorry to hear about the damage...Good news the amp itself is ok...Is this a plus or base model?...(XLRs on the back is a plus, No XLRs is base model)
Thanx man!
To answer yor question it is the Plus with XLR's in the rear.
Cheers!
thanks Space... got to it before me ![]()
