Pod XT Live with Pod Farm

I have a pod xt live and want to know if I purchase pod farm will I be able to use the model packs I have loaded on pod xt live as plugin and will I be able to transfer tones created to xt live.

Hi, the podfarmplugin will allow you to use all the models you have on your hardware as a plugin.
I don't think the plugin will allow you to save presets to your Pod, this is done in Gearboxstandalone.

  If I create a sound in the Pod Farm, is there a way to save that sound, change file type, capture it so I can use that Identical sound live with my pod xt live. Thanks.

bettercarma,

Unfortunately, the tones created on POD Farm cannot be loaded into the PODxt Live. You will need to manually create them with the same parameters and models on the PODxt Live.

  I was wondering the same thing...
  So you basically say that there is no way to tune an effect with POD farm and load it in the PODxt live. I was told you can do PODfarm->gearbox->PODxt live if it was saved from POD farm without the dual mode on. But when I try to open the file, Gearbox alway says
  unable to load tone (code 8000A009) Unsupported patch type
  
  I bought POD farm to use it as a pugin in ableton to tune effects on dry guitar riff and load them afterwards to the POD xt live. If I can do that well I guess I bought POD farm for nothing. And I must say it wasn't very clear in the specs...

  when will this be fixed? If it is a known issue and lots of us need it fixed...why not provide an update as to when the patch will be available...this has been going on for way too long....

Also, if you use the XTLive as the interface, you won't be able to use dual tones.
