default effect not working

I'm just starting to work with the TDK and it doesn't look like the DSP is functioning. The default effect doesn't seem to work (no yellow light when the footswitch is pressed, no filter effects with the knobs, etc.)

When I hook the effect up to the developer kit software I can see that the MCU is working. I get value changes on the knobs and switches and the footswitch seems to work.

Shouldn't I be seeing a default effect with the module? Is there somethin else I should be trying?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

    Re: default effect not working

As you say the foot pedal is a switch. Even if it can be programmed as a button as well the default is a switch function. So please press the foot pedal over the arrester until you hear a click. Then the LED illuminates. If you think that this need too much brute force you may reprogram the switch behaviour to a button (like I did). Then you have to press the footswitch softly to the arrester to enable the effect.

If this doesn't help maybe the switch is dead. Please use the development kit to check this. The footswitch position is indicated here as well as the potentiometer positions.

    Best regards
