BIG Toneport UX 2 problem!!

I have a huge problem with my Toneport UX 2.. I recently bought a macbook , but when I tried to install Gearbox and my Toneport :
As soon as I plug in my Toneport with the USB cable my Mac freezes and tells me I have to restart the computer by holding the power button.
If I dont unplug the Toneport then it will just freeze again immediately after I restart it. So this happens at the start of the Gearbox installation. I've tried installing gearbox first and then plugging in my toneport but that just showed the same results.
I don't know what to do, because my toneport works fine on my Windows, but that computer is just too slow to work with.
Can anyone please help me??
I'm not sure about the UX2 but I know the POD X3 series of Line 6 products is not yet fully compatible with the latest MAC OS software - 10.6.x (Snow Leopard). Since your mac is new I suspect this may be the problem.

Perhaps the available beta drivers will work for you.
Hi i have almost the exact problem, but i installed the toneport ux2 first and it worked fine until i tried to install gearbox and now it doesn't work at all, also tried it on my pc with bad results.. check out my thread http://line6.com/community/thread/26412
