Ran Line6 Monkey on new computer, now the Metal pack add-on is gone from my PODxt.

I just bought a new computer (Intel core i5, Asus p7d55d motherboard, 4 gb ram, Windows 7 home premium 64-bit)
I istalled the latest Line 6 drivers for Windows Vista/XP since there was none for Windows 7 (why?). Anyway,
it all went nice and smooth.
When I try to re-activate the add-on (Metal pack) in Line 6 Monkey 1.31, the progress bar when "programming
hardware" goes up to about 80%, then an error message appears;
"Transaction failed.
Reason: (Code 80007104) Failed write to firmware"
I know it's not my hardware that is failing (USB ports, cable whatever).
In the Help & Info bar the following message appears:
"There was an error determining which Add-Ons you have installed. ((Code 80007506) The asset table in the hardware is corrupt.)
Click the 'Reinstall' button to fix this problem (you must be connected to the Internet)
Call Customer Service if you click 'Reinstall' and still see this error.
So, this re-activation B***S*** has actually corrupted the software in the PODxt,
and made the Metal pack disappear from my POD?
Sorry, i'm really disappointed.
Please help
Are the Model Packs in Question Registered to you & in the account you are logged in to when you are doing the Firmware update?
Yes, the Metal pack is registered to me. I can see it under My account -> Purchase history ->

I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with the License key since i have a new computer?
Which Line 6 Device is the Pack installed on? And are you using the same device on this new computer?
You should install line 6 Monkey as well! This will help you know which is "Up to Date" !
Model Packs are Line 6 Device dependant and not Computer dependant! So you should be able to run the Same Model Packs that are on your Line 6 Device on multiple computers!
Yes, it's the same old PODxt i've been using for years.
I have Line 6 monkey installed. When I start it, a message pops up saying:
" IMPORTANT: Your hardware has not yet been activated to allow all the features you purchased
Close this message, then click the Activate features button in Monkey's
Optional Add-Ons tab to complete activation"
However, when i hit the Activate features button for the first time, the problems started wich i descibed in my first post...
Now there is no Activate features button left, it's been replaced with a Reinstall button. When i hit that button, the installation
stops at about 80% into the process and i get the error also described in my first post.
On the "Update" tab, I can only see wich version of Monkey I have installed, nothing more (no information about firmware versions etc)
Ok, problem solved!
I used my old computer wich has Windows XP installed and ran Monkey on it. It re-installed the Metal pack with no problems whatsoever.
Then i hooked up the POD to the new computer and downloaded the beta drivers for Windows 7, installed them, and voilá!
So i don't recommend Windows 7 (64-bit) users to run Line 6 Monkey...it got me into unnecesary problems!
Stay in the mix and in the know.
