Problem with DL4 - Power related

Hello,

 

I have a DL4 and everytime I use the AC power adapter on the DL4 modeler, it only powers it on for 30 sec then dies.

Is this a problem with the female plug inside the DL4 unit or is it the power adapter itself?

 

Been used for about 6 months.

    Hi,

       

      It's hard for us to know where the point of failure is just based on what you wrote. If you own another Line 6 device like a POD, PODxt, POD X3 Live that uses the PX2 power supply... try swapping the supply unit with your DL4. If you live close to a Guitar Center or Sam Ash retailer, they have correct power supplies at the store to test your DL4 with.

       

      Ultimately, you're still within the warranty period, if you only bought the DL4 new 6 months ago. Make a copy of your purchase receipt and get your unit to the nearest Authorized Service Center in your area and have a tech diagnose the true cause of issue and fix it under warranty: http://line6.com/support/serviceCenters/
