Installation Problems

I have had 2 problems:

 

1. The following error message appears at install: "The system extension " / system / Library / Extensions / Line6Audio.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Contact the product vendor for an update"  I have attempted instal 4 times with the same result

 

2 The software does not detect the hardware. When the USB is connected a message appears: "You need to restart your computer hold down the power button.." On restarting the computer and reconnecting the USB the message is repeated.

    Mikethor,

       

      It sounds like you are using the OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system on your computer which Line 6 does not currently support, but we do have beta versions of software drivers for.

       

      First, download and install the POD Farm 1.11 software onto your computer.  Then, before connecting your UX2 hardware, download and install the 4.2.5 drivers for the Snow Leopard operating system from the following link:
