I tried updating my M13 a few months ago and spent an hour downloading stuff and trying to figure out what to do. Im sorry but it is way confusing. Isn't their a way to just hit download? I mean I couldn't figure it out plus I'm never comfortable downloading those programs especially because I just got a new computer. Any advice? Or simpler instructions than the ones I used. Thanks.
Tell us where you got to so far and what equipment you're using (Computer, OS/Windows/Mac/Version, MIDI interface) and then you'll get some helpful replies
.
Im using Windows XP and I'm starting from scratch now.
Follow the instructions posted here:

It's pretty much the most straightforward way to do it. If you have trouble, tell us how far along you got and what the problem is. I don't think anyone will sit here and walk you through it because every step is laid out in that post. You only need to download 2 things: MIDI-Ox and the M13 firmware.
If you can't make it through or at least try and tell us where you get hung up, then I think you'll just have to wait until the next version of Line 6 Monkey comes out, as it will add M13 support.
What MIDI interface do you have?
As the other poster said, maybe walk through the tutorial and ask any questions here as you're going.
Well I just found out my M13 is non functional. I thought it was working again but its not so now I need to fix it before and Ill try and let you know what MIDI i have. Im borrowing it from someone and do not have it right now
Hi,
Sorry to hear about that. If you do have future questions about the M13, please feel free to ask a new question by creating a new thread.
