Minor issues

I own the Spider Valve MKII HD100, I've had it for about 1 month now. When editing the preloaded banks( the levels are way out of hand) it kept freezing on me. It would freeze and squeal and also just lock up. Turning it off and then back on would correct it, then while I was just playing it started running through different effects all on it's own, turning off and then back on also corrected. These issues just started to surface, it seems to not like quick editing. I say quick because now that I'm more familiar with it I can bounce around and change things fairly fast. Are these issues normal or something that needs to be addressed? Are there any software updates for the MKII? Can you even update the software on the MKII? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I would say you need to take your amp in for servicing and have this checked out, now!!!! You need an authorized L6 service center.
Good luck

Hello,
That is not expected behavior at all. I'd suggest calling us directly and getting a hold of our service department so we can arrange a warranty repair for you.

i guess the spider valves are a software nightmare in general. seems like daily problems lately. although a different animal its a shame because my old 2.o pod had been solid for years.
Yes, but the POD dsp isn't sitting next to a full blown tube power amp section. Heat and computers don't mix very well... ![]()
