pod farm and reaper

reaper recognizes podfarm in my vst and when I turn on my fx (green) and add podfarm I get complete silence and cannot adjust sound fx. I add another fx and uncheck podfarm and I can work my fx and adjust, then I turn on podfarm and get silence again, no possibility to adjust. What's up with this

have you activated your POD Farm license in monkey, and if you're using a new/different PC have you clicked the authorise button in monkey?

are you running the latest version of reaper?

if you expect to hear the output from pod farm plugin while you're playing, you need to change the monitoring settings in reaper.  also ensure the volume knob in pod farm is turned up.  the first time I used pod farm plugin it was automatically down, and I'd not changed it, so that caught me out for ages.  also make sure you're using the latest POD Farm version. http://line6.com/software/

    Hello,

Can oyu tell us which version of Reaper you are using?

It will also help if you could let us know what operating system you are using as well as what version of POD Farm you have. Thanks.

    Hello,

I just set this up here in our lab and I could not reproduce what you are experiencing. Just to be clear, here's what I did:

      1. Downloaded and installed Reaper 3.14 on Vista Home Basic 32 bit

      2. Launched Reaper and created a new mono audio track

      3. Recorded a dry riff onto the track and verified I was getting audio playback

      4. Clicked on the little FX button on the audio track and browsed for the POD Far VST and clicked on it to launch it

      5. Dragged in a Diezel amp model and played my track back

Result was that the POD Farm plug in was effecting the track and that no audio loss was occurring.

Is this exactly how you are doing it?

          Hi,

I use PodFarm and Reaper on a daily basis and can confirm it works. You will need PodFarm version 1.11 for it to work with Reaper. Run Line6 Monkey and update PodFarm to ver 1.11 and it should work.

          Hope this helps.

    Norm,

You did nor spend over $120 dollars for a useless version of POD Farm. The disc that came with your purchase simply contains an older version of the application. This is exactly why we offer the application on our website for free. Use the latest version (1.11) of the POD Farm application with the iLok key you purchased and you will be fine.

Please let me know if this helps or not. Thanks.
