Can't locate "CL" in midi map mode of Echo Pro! help pls!

Hi team

 

I'm a total MIDI novice, so apologies if I'm missing something rather huge and obvious. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated...

 

My goal is to figure out how to wire up my Echo Pro, Yamaha midi foot controller, and Ableton Live so that the Echo Pro receives Live's midi clock info so I can control the looper with the foot controller and record loops in sync with Live's tempo.

 

I'm currently poring over the manuals of all these products, and the Echo Pro manual says to activate midi map mode, which I have done-- and scroll with the program knowb until I find "CL" (clock)... the only problem is-- that is NOT one of the options that comes up!

 

It goes from BYpass, through 1-99, then : --, LA, LB, LO, LS, LR, LP, L1, LH, LV, --, FX, and TP.    No CL.

 

 

Have a missed a step previous to being able to call up CL? Is my echo pro wired incorrectly? Currently I'm using an M-Audio Uno to hook the Echo Pro up to my Mac.

 

ANy guidance or direction is HIGHLY appreciated!!! Thank you!

    Posted too soon! Figured out how to access CL and the other parameters, though I am having a dickens of a time getting my MFC10 to transmit the correct messages to the Echo Pro.

     

    Though my question is answered, if anyone has any experience with this particular foot controller and has words of wisdom, let me know!

     

    Seems like the MFC10 does not transmit certain messages (101 and 102, specifically!) and also seems like some of its messages are mixed up-- when I send 103, for example (which is record only), it triggers the Echo pro to PLAY.

     

    I should mention that I have already reset this to factory settings, so there shouldnt be a huge disconnect with the midi message programming...

     

    Anyway, thanks to anyone who can give me a hand!
