Firmware update keeps failing again and again

Hi, I'm trying to update via Line 6 Monkey my Guitarport from 2.05 to 2.07. The new one is said to add Mic Pre and Bass Models so I'm very interested in updating it.
When I try to update it, this is what appears:
Updating USB
Firmware: requesting firmware....
Writing...
Error
And the a pop-up appears saying:
GuitarPort update failed.
(Code 80007105) Firmware verify failed. PLEASE turn the device OFF and on again.
Try the update again, making sure the cables are still connected.
Well I've done this several times without success.
What do I have to do to solve my problem?
Thanks in advance.
The next thing you should try is disconnecting the GuitarPort hardware from the first USB port on the computer you were using and use a different USB (try them all, if you still get that message) until you find a port that yields success for you.
You might need to try a different USB cable, too.
Hi, tanks for the info, but I've done that and happens the same thing...if I change the USB port: error, if I change the cable: error.
Is there another way of upgrading the firmware, or getting the bass exapnsion as well as the Mic pre's ?
Thanks again.
Hello,
You may have a hardware issue with your device. The best way to determine this would be to connect your GuitarPort device to a different computer. Is that possible for you to do?
